Seaside Shore Day Four

It's Sunday.... and I am just getting to writing this blog post.  I promise to get my act together.  You are probably tired of hearing that, right?  Yesterday I had a class here for my local Stampin' Up! customers and then we went to the Tampa Bay Rays game with my parents.  Needless to say, there was little down time for blog posts!  So here I am today, ready to share my Seaside Shore Card #4 with you!  This card uses the paper to the max!  Two of the designs and that adorable anchor stamp!  So cute!
I am sure you have lots of people in your life who could use this card, especially the sentiment: Hang in there.  There is so much going on in our worlds today (and a lot of it isn't good).  This card really can bring a smile to a friends face!  I love how the anchor plays on the sentiment (which comes from the Here for You stamp set)... hang in there!  Get it?  This card is also perfect for a male or female!
I mentioned my class yesterday but I didn't tell you the best part!  My electricity went out!  At first I laughed and said oh it will come on fast!  NOPE!  It was out for about half of the class.  It would come on for a few minutes and then go out, come on, go out, etc... Oh boy!  Good thing my ladies love me and love to stamp.  I grabbed some candles and we stamped by candlelight!  It's always a fun time with lots of laughter during my classes!  LOL  (And in case you wondering, I did pay my bill, it was the entire neighborhood that was out!!!)

Seaside Shore Day Three

It's is a Mailable Monday... not on purpose but it seems that is what I created for you!  My day today started out with my alarm not going off and my waking up almost an hour late!  Aaaaaaa!!!  My day was okay but it was hard to come back after that, lol!  Just an okay day.... have you ever had one of those days?  Today is my parents 52nd Anniversary!  What an achievement!

This card features one of the new embossing folders in the Annual Catalog.  I guess it isn't new anymore, is it?  The embossing folder is perfect for any of your card featuring water and it is named perfectly: Seaside.
I did CASE this card from someone online and I am sorry I don't have their name.  I made this second card using the same design but using the coordinating By the Shore Designer Series Paper.
Check out my supplies below and hop over to my online store to purchase any of the supplies.  Don't forget that when you make a $25 purchase from my online store, I send you 5 cards of the month (I will feature them this week in a blog post).  Use hostess code: MDMFYDHY Thank you for following me and come back tomorrow for another fun project!

Seaside Shore Day Two

Happy Sunday!  I am back!!  I have the best intentions but not as much energy!  As you may know, I am a 3rd grade teacher and as teachers, we went back starting August 2nd.  The first month of school is always exhausting, but the first two weeks is extra exhausting between setting up, prepping lessons, prepping materials for lessons and activities, attending Meet the Teacher Night, etc... It really sucks the life out of me.  I have to admit, I am crabby when I get home and I just want to eat, shower, watch tv and go to bed.  Well, as you can imagine, that is all I really did do!  Last weekend I focused on my classroom again, prepping things, etc.. and my dad had shoulder surgery so that took some of my time too!

Lucky for you, I have several projects prepped and ready to go for you.  My plan today is to get myself all set up to have them posting each day for you!  I am continuing my 5 days of Seaside Shore with a quick and easy card.
This card uses a regular card base but I cut out a circle from it.  Then I used a white 4x5 1/4" piece of white cardstock underneath.  I did use masks to make the fish look like they are swimming in the ocean.  Not sure what a mask is?  I just stamped the fish on a post it note and cut it out.  I hold onto the "mask" with the stamp set so I can use it again and again.  I used the Banners for You (wonderful and versatile) Bundle to create the "Hello" tag.
This is the inside of my card, I have been enjoying creating some art on the inside of my cards too!
Don't forget the envelope.... it needs some decorations too!
