All Things Stampin' Up! Blog Hop - January

Happy New Year!!  There is so much I LOVE in this new mini it was hard to pick just a few projects!   I have to admit that I do have several sets from the new mini.  I made a promise to myself that anything I purchased myself (I earned some for being a SU! demo during some challenges during the last few months), I would demo and USE!  So, all of my cards use Twitterpated DSP (I love it) and 2 of the sets I bought: Bordering on Romance and Tea Shoppe!  I hope you enjoy checking them out!

I decided to first feature an idea I had found in a magazine.  I have never bought a magazine and haven't seen the benefits of it until now.  This card was quite easy (just cutting and adhering) with my favorite Bordering on Romance set.  (Supplies are posted at the bottom of the post!)

My second card can be used as a "friend" card for any occasion or used for Valentine's Day.  I used the new Heart Framelits as well as the heart punch.  The best thing about the Framelits is that you can put them wherever you want on your page, you are not limited to where the "punch" can cut.  The polka dot  ribbon with button accents really makes this card sweet enough to give to "friend" in your life.

3-D Project: Thank You Cards with box
I wanted to make a 3-d project for the hop.  I really needed a small gift for my next workshop.  This idea was in the magazine exclusive to Stampin' Up! Consultants.  I loved the idea when I saw it.  This was extremely easy project.  The box fits 5 cards and as you can see, I didn't spend a lot of time making the cards.  I used the new Edgelits Dies and Textured Impressions Embossing Folders along with the Bordering on Romance stamp set which coordinates with the new Edgelits and folders.  I love this!  (I used the five in-colors for 2011-2013 for the cards because they will be one of the SAB items you can earn free at the end of the month!  :)

Thank you so much! I would post on everyone's blogs but some I can't figure out how to comment on. LOL I love all of them! Tonya, the Twitterpated paper and Bordering on Romance set are both my favorites! I didn't get BoR at first and now I am so glad it was my "second choice". Funny how those quickly become first choice!!
