Holiday Gift Set

As promised I have finished the gift set with box for my Christmas class coming this fall!  I saw the ideas for this GREAT gift on Stampin' Connection (SC is an exclusive benefit of being an SU! demo - if you'd like information about all the other benefits, let me know!).  Here is the original blog post where I CASE'd (copy and share everything) Stampin' Nerd's creativity!

This is a picture of the completed project which includes: 5 regular mailable cards with envelopes, 5 3x3 cards with envelopes, 8 each of the 3 tags, twine for the tags and postage stamps.  I also plan to get a mini gel pen to include in the supply area of the box.  Isn't this a perfect gift to bring to a holiday party or give as a gift to a co-worker or boss?  I just love the idea!
How CUTE are the tags used in this set?  I used the Scentsational Season Stamp set and the matching Holiday Collection framelits to cut them out!  It was so easy, especially after I figured out the trick to using the framelits in my big shot (video coming soon, and it's NOT the post it note technique).

I cut a small slit in the hot chocolate cup and inserts the candy cane into the mug.  Doesn't it look good enough to eat?  Just wait until you come to the class - we will be using embossing powder that smells like sugar & spice!

The middle candy cane tag is one that you'd string twine to hang on a package or gift.  The other two are cut using punches - check out my blog tomorrow for a step-by-step tutorial showing you how to do this!
