Fab Friday 02

Wow!  We had so many participants with our last challenge!  I was so excited to see everyone's cards and different styles of creativity coming out!  It's our second Fab Friday challenge and this week is a color challenge!  I love color challenges because it usually pushes me to mix up colors I don't normally use in my stamping.

I didn't intend on this becoming a sympathy card but it just morphed into that... I love the colors, not too boring but not too bright.  Perfect for the sentiment!
I thought the Sahara Sand looked a bit boring so I added a versa mark stamped image as a "background".  I even embossed it, but it's very hard to see that in the photograph!
I hope you enjoy the 2nd challenge we have for you! I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with!

Very soft and pretty, Pam! I love the embossed flowers on the SS background. I have a hard time leaving plain card stock alone too and am always looking for ways to jazz it up a bit. Excited to be on the DT with you! :)

You're right; this is a perfect color combo for a sympthy card. Soft and mellow and not too in your face. The flowers are very elegant too..love the embossed ones on the background!
