Thanksgiving preparations!

I feel like Thanksgiving came upon us way too fast.  I know it's technically a week earlier than it normally is, and that affects us more than normal!  I have been making "Thanksgiving" cards over the last few months and have sent them out... but I still felt like I hadn't used my supplies enough.

My first project today is a fall card... I figured I could use this as a thank you.
But in making this card, I realized it'd make a great start to a scrapbook page - especially since the flag is too long for a regular envelope.  So my plan is to make it into a scrapbook page later today.  My next project is place cards for tomorrow's meal.  My plan was to just use extra DSP to make leaves for the table, then I thought of place cards.
I am going to use different combinations of leaves and embellishments to make the 6 place cards.  We don't have a big event, especially since most of our family lives in either Michigan (where I grew up) or Maryland/ Virginia (where my dad grew up).  Despite a small gathering, I look forward to spending time with my family and playing games!  :)  And it's always fun to see my 5-year old nephew.  Speaking of my nephew, here is his place card:
All of the pieces are either the leaves from the Leaves Die or the Owl Buidler Punch.  Let me know if you have any questions!

Check back tomorrow for my last "Fall" post.  Friday is a new Fab Friday Challenge (did you participate in our last one?).  And.... Saturday starts my 12 Days of Giftables!  You WILL NOT want to miss out on the quick, easy and FUN projects posted for 12 days straight!
