All Dressed Up for the New Year!

Merry Christmas (a little late)... out with the Christmas cards.... in with the adorable new product for the New Year!  These are some new sneaks for the new catalog launching January 3, 2013!
This card was made with the "Dress Up" framelits featured in the catalog!  I also used the Print Poetry Designer Series Paper Stack and Vanilla Flower 5/8" Trim.  The base of the is Primrose Petals with Very Vanilla and Raspberry Ripple.  I also used the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.

This card uses the same supplies as above, but I added a purse.  Isn't this purse just ADORABLE?!  I made it using the Cupcake Builder Punch (upside down).  The flap on the "purse" is made using the 3/4" circle punch cut in half with the handle made from a string of pearls!

Come back tomorrow for more sneaks!

PS: Today I went to my Oncologist for my yearly appointment.  I am officially cancer-free for TEN YEARS!!  WOOHOO!

Fab Friday 08 Challenge

Welcome to our 8th challenge at Fab Friday!  This week we have a great color challenge!  I just love the combination of colors!  I wanted to use some new product but could only fit in the new Primrose Petals Coredinations Card Stock....
My newest set is the Make a Mitten set and Builder Punch.  I wasn't going to get this set and recently decided I had to own it!  I used the Delicate Doilies Sizzlits L die to make the circle that the mittens are sitting on.  Isn't it soooo cute?!

I was in a "blah" moment and needed a sketch too so I popped over to Freshly Made Sketches and used their current sketch!  I love it!  Thanks to them!

Stampin' Stylin' Squad Blog Hop

It's the most wonderful time of the year.... and I want to share with you my favorite item in the Holiday Catalog.... the snowflake die!  My projects are both featuring this die!

This card is a CASE from a card in the Holiday Catalog.  I did change things up a bit by heat embossing the Distressed Polka Dots stamp.  I used the glittery embossing powder.  Each layer of the snowflake has dimensions in-between the different sizes.  I just LOVE the sparkly paper with the polka dot parade DSP.

My second project is using a clear glass ornament from Michaels.  Here is a tutorial that shows how to make these easy ornaments.  The picture is not the best but I used silver glitter paper again.  Oh, I also threw in a layer of the red glitter paper.  Please excuse my use of something retired, it is Stampin' Up! but the tinsel trim is from a few years ago (but I love it)!
I hope you enjoyed my projects!  These weren't my original plan but I have had them made for awhile. I have been teaching and nannying, not to mention a lot of other things!  Last Friday I went to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party with my mom for her birthday (which was yesterday).  The castle was AMAZING all lit-up!  My favorite part was seeing the Gingerbread Houses at the Grand Floridian Hotel!

Cute Christmas Giftables

Here are two super cute giftables I came up with....
This box is using the Fancy Favor Bigz XL die #115965, the Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags #128152 and retired buttons.  I stamped the tag with Greetings of the Season stamp set #128033 using Gumball Green ink #126861.  I just LOVE the Land O' Lakes Cocoa Mix (I buy it around the holidays at Sam's Club).  I found the adorable soft peppermint sticks at the Dollar Tree and tied them with Cherry Cobbler Sweater Trim #129938.
This is the Petite Pocket Bigz XL Die #123131 and the same Snow Festival Designer Printed Tags #128152.  I wrapped the Cherry Cobbler Twine #123125 around several times and tied it off in a bow.

Let me know if I can help you make some of these gifts, or come up with ideas for others!
