Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop

Welcome to the January 2013 Blog Hop!  Doesn't Annie's project just BLOW you away?  I am so excited to have all of this new, wonderful product... sadly I haven't been in my stamp room much lately.  But I did take some time to create two cards using a ton of the new product.  I apologize in advance for the photos, it was late and I don't have the best lighting in my stamp room!

This card uses the Swallowtail stamp, which I immediately loved when I opened the Spring catalog!  I embossed it using glitter embossing powder and white ink.  I love how it turned out and don't you just love the sentiment?  You can earn it free during Sale-a-Bration!

This basic card idea comes from someone else (and I am sorry if I don't give proper credit but I can't remember where I saw it).  I changed up the layers and added the cute new ticket stamp.... I just love the new mini butterfly punch and that paper is to die for!  :)  Oooohhhh and the rose, isn't a perfect accent to that new ribbon?  I am in love with this card.  My favorite part, which is probably hard to see, is the new embossing folder that I used on the bottom.

Hop along to Nancy's pretty-pretty blog!  She has a beautiful card for you!  Feel free to leave us some love in the form of comments!  Thanks so much!

Beautiful cards! I love the embossed butterfly. I've been eyeing that butterfly ever since I got my hands on the spring's going to have to join my collection soon!

Your cards are beautiful. I love how sparkly the big butterfly is and the second one is a great layout. I may have to case that one myself. Thank you for your comment on my blog. One of great things about giving the candle card to my son is that I can "borrow" it back for my display boards. Thank you for sharing.

The swallowtail butterfly really stands out as a WOW! I love the little punched butterflies too, especially with that flower. :-)

Who wouldn't love the dazzle of glitter and it looks gorgeous on the giant butterfly!! Looking back over my projects over the last year I have realized just how much I have used butterflies on my cards and projects! Love that there are so many new products for that...including the new bitty butterfly punch! I think the rhinestones down the middle of the butterflies in your second card is the perfect touch!

Hope you have a great day, Pam! Thanks for your always encouraging words...blessings to you!
