CASEing at it's BEST!

Who doesn't love this card?
Thanks to my friend Bree for not only giving me the idea to make this card but also for letting me borrow Stippled Blossoms to make this for a workshop this coming week!  Check out here blog here.
I used the Pop n' Cuts die to make the card with this edge!  I love the elegant look of the edge!  The two layers of oval framelits make it look even more elegant!  I know the flower trim is retired but I just had to use it!

I made this card using two different color schemes... because I couldn't decide which one I like better!  The card on the left is Marina Mist and Night of Navy.  The card on the right is Pool Party and Island Indigo!

I need to do a post on the two different stamps I used to decorate the dress forms because they are both so pretty!  They were both roller wheels that I unmounted.

Check out the Big Shot supplies that I used for these cards!
Big Shot Supplies:
Pop n' Cuts Card Base #130099/ $39.95
Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder #130917/ $7/95
Ovals Collection Framelits #129381/ $26.95
Dress Up Framelits #130101/ $24.95
**Let me know if you need any further supply lists!**

See you tomorrow for a "miss you" post!

Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites with:
Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration
Good Morning!  Today we are featuring our "Friday Favorites".  I don't have a lot of time as I got a migraine when I was supposed to post this blog.  But... my favorites right now are:
Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper
and Cycle Celebration Stamp Set

This card is for my "sweet niece" who is turning 21 on September 8th.  She loves Lime Green and Blue.  Although I didn't use lime green, I had to use Bermuda Bay. it's another one of my favorites.  The accent color I used was Raspberry Ripple as it's one of the coordinating colors for the Birthday Basics DSP.
Are you are wondering where those cute hats and balloon came from? I used "Sketched Birthday" as well to decorate the inside of the card.

Isn't this adorable bottle is perfect for a 21st birthday?!
I used the paper to line the envelope!  You know she most be special to me because I don't usually line the envelopes with current paper since I have so much retired paper collecting dust.  Using the envelope liner framelits, that paper isn't collecting dust anymore.

Make a commitment to make some cards this 3-day weekend!  I am going to the beach and enjoying family!  See you tomorrow and thanks for following me!

10 Minute Card

Six-Sided Sampler in 10 minutes
I made this card for my post yesterday and then came up with a different idea.  So I decided to post it later and make another card.  I do love this card, but if I made it again I would start stamping at the center instead of the left side of the card.
This card is simple... the most complicated part is using my stamp-a-majig to align the hexagons.  I punched and popped up the small Daffodil Delight hearts.  The last step was stamping the "Thinking of You" sentiment comes from the "Kind and Cozy" stamp set.
I took a close up picture of this sentiment because I love the floral design in the font.  It's super cute!  As you can see, I used the same color combination as yesterday.  It comes from the Gingham Garden Designer Series Paper.

Thank you so much for visiting!  I so appreciate you checking out my blog... feel free to subscribe to receive daily updates.

Come back tomorrow for really cool 3-D project we will be making in my next class.

Hexagons for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration

Hexagons for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration
Welcome back!  Thanks so much for being one of my loyal readers!  Today we are all using hexagons in our designs.  When the Six Sided Sampler originally came out, I wasn't super excited.  Then I kept seeing very cute projects.  So... I decided I had to get the bundle with the matching punch.
I really wanted to use Gingham Garden for this card and although I did on the flower, I ended up mostly using the colors from that Designer Series Paper.  Melon Mambo, Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzaz are the bright colors that are the focal point of this card!  I am not sure how I feel about the mix of patterns, but I think they look cool.  I think I like the way this card came together!
I am having issues turning photos again on this laptop.  I am used to my Mac, not this PC!  But I wanted to make sure you could see how cute the center flower is!  I used the Blossom punch and curled the edges using my bone folder.

Come back tomorrow for a card that can be made in less than 10 minutes!  Thanks for stopping by!

Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Pop n' Cuts Dress Cards

Pop n' Cuts Dress Form
(As a part of the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Design Team I have my own post once a month... pretty cool, eh?  Here's my post for today!)
Pam here with a post about the amazing Pop n' Cuts exclusive Sizzix dies!  Karen Burniston created this exclusive line for Stampin' Up!  I copied this design from something I saw at the convention in July.  Please understand I had all sorts of plans to make two more designs of my own, but a sinus infection/ allergy attack has had other plans on my day!  I promise to post more designs once I feel better!
This is the front of the card.  I used the Oval Framelits to create that super cute sentiment...
This is the inside... can you say complicated?  No, really, it's less complicated than it looks.  The list of supplies is literally several different items.  I would be happy to send the supply list (or post it here) if you post a comment asking for it!
This is a close up of the dress.  You will need the Dress Up Framelits in order to complete this card.  Can you imagine the possibilities with the two dresses?  I can't wait to show you some more designs I have come up with... I also have a really cool 3-d to share with you soon!  I love the Designer Series Paper that I used, it's called Modern Medley #126926/ $10.95.  It's all Basic Black and Very Vanilla.

If you want to receive my daily blog updates, be sure to subscribe to my blog!

In order to make this card, you will first need these three items:

Pop n' Cuts Card Base #130099 / $39.95

Dress Form Pop n' Cuts #130100 / $21.95
Dress Up Framelits #130101/ $24.95

Thanks so much for letting me share with you!  :) Pam

Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Photopolymer Stamps

We have a bonus post for you this weekend!  I was supposed to get this posted yesterday but it didn't happen.  I got this idea from my mom... she said why don't you pair that with records?  So cute and perfect for my older brother's upcoming 41st birthday!
Do you love the sentiment?  It comes from the new Stampin' Up! line called Photopolymer!  It's completely clear... and I have to admit, I love the sentiments in this set!
I decorated the inside with another stamp from Bombs Away as well as stars from the Simply Stars stamp set!
I also lined the envelope with some retired Designer Series Paper (from last Halloween).  I love the black and vanilla strips.  I know it's not a perfect match with the white on the envelope but my brother will never notice!  LOL!
This is the set Bombs Away.  You can order it in my online store using #133411 for $13.95!  Remember, you will need clear blocks to stamp them!  I promise you will love this new line!

Go check out the other card-spirations from our design team
tomorrow I have a special post all on my own for the Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration page... come back and check it out!  And I love comments so please leave me some love!

Fab Friday #25

It's another Fab Friday!
It's our 25th Challenge over at Fab Friday!  Wow!  Thanks to all of you who consistently post and follow us!  We have a cute design for you this week!
Here's my take on the sketch...
I am in LOVE with the glitter in the Holiday Catalog!  I also LOVE that Chevron background stamp... I used heat and stick, heated using the heat tool and then sprinkled the orange glitter on top (and heated again to set the glitter).  Don't you just adore the witch hate and sentiment?  It's from this month's Best of set... Best of Halloween!  You can order it in my online store using #134381/ $14.95.
As you can see I stamped the bat from Halloween Hello in the white ink.  I stamped it and then "stamped off" the second one (on top).  I love the way it turned out!  The witch hat is stamped in Elegant Eggplant and then cut out using the paper snips!
I could not get this picture to turn and I am being too lazy to re-take the picture.  I have been stamping the insides of most cards lately... and I have been lining most envelopes.  Unfortunately I can't line an envelope for this card since it's not the normal size... but I can soon make an envelope to fit this cute card!  Stampin' Up! is launching an envelope maker on September 1 (I am ordering mine this weekend).

Thanks so much for joining me today!  Check out my blog tomorrow for a special post for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.

August Paper Pumpkin Kit

August Paper Pumpkin Kit
I received my August Paper Pumpkin Kit in the mail Monday.  I was so excited to see a bicycle in my package, as well two ink spots, as well as the sentiment stamp (and the card supplies).
The above card is the one shown on the package.  I like it's simplicity but I feel like it needed more!  I started playing around and here's what I came up with:
I used the Crushed Curry tape as if it was Washi Tape.  I also matted the bicycle and added candy dots in Smoky Slate to the centers.  Don't you just love that bicycle print paper?  It's from the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper stack!

Did you know...
if you are one of my paper pumpkin subscribers you get to make all of the projects as well as a bonus item in a special class for FREE!  Click on the link on the sidebar to subscribe.  It's half off for your first two months if you subscribe by August 31st!  Let me know if you have questions!

Come back tomorrow for another Fab Friday Challenge!

Mosiac Madness with Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration

Mosiac Madness for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration

The theme today is Mosiac Madness and I struggled with it for a few days... I like what I came up with!  I simply used our new Card Thinlets to create two bases - one in Pool Party Card Stock and one in the Mosaic print Designer Series Paper.
This is a close up of the Mosaic portion.   I started typing out the instructions but they were far too confusing.  I will post a tutorial tomorrow for you, that way you can re-create this card yourself!

See you tomorrow for a tutorial of this bright and fun card!

Fall Card - Fun Fold Tutorial

Fun Fold Tutorial
This is one of the four projects that we will be making on Sunday from 2-5pm!  I love how fall this card looks and it matches all of the other items we are making!  :)
Isn't that quote the truth?  I just love enjoying passing time on the BEACH!  Too bad summer is over and I am back to reality today... did I mention I am back to work??  Anyway, keep reading for the fun fold!
This card uses the Sweather Weather Designer Series Paper.  Isn't it so pretty? I love the fall tones and I really love that plaid pattern!  And it looks so nice with the Wonderfall stamp set from last year (in our main catalog!).
Here's how to create the "two cards in one" fun fold!
1. Cut two pieces of card stock - one that is 8.5 x 4.25 and one that is 8x3.
2.  Score the longer piece at 3 inches.  Score the other piece at 4 inches (both are scored on the long side).
3.  Adhere the smaller card to the bottom (inside) of the bigger card.
4.  Make sure to put the button on LAST as you want to make sure the smaller flap can fit underneath it!

From My Heart Stamp Set #126557/ $28.95
Wonderfall Stamp Set #128787/ $17.95
Tangerine Tango Ink
Chocolate Chip, Crushed Curry and Very Vanilla Card Stock
Chocolate Chip Stitched Ribbon
Naturals Wood Buttons

Tomorrow I have another Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration challenge to share!  Thanks so much for stopping by!
