Anniversary Card using Best of Babies and Brides

Happy 49th Anniversary to my Parents!
If I have learned anything from my parents, it's that a marriage is hard work.... it takes compromise, love and genuine friendship!  Today is their 49th Anniversary!  49 years is a very long time - 13 years longer than I have even been alive!  They have lived in two states, had 4 children, grandchildren, more dogs and houses than I can count, many cars and gone through so many hair styles they'd be embarrassed to admit it!

I decided to go with two of their favorite colors: blue (my dad's) and purple (my mom's).  Although Bermuda Bay isn't exactly a blue, it can fit in with them!  Plus it looked super cute with the Wisteria Wonder!  I layered it on So Saffron...
I had originally planned on used Wisteria Wonder Chevron ribbon, however my hands had other plans.  I ended up using Smoky Slate instead, which worked perfect since I stamped the image in the same color.
You might be wondering where this image comes from?  It's from the "Best of" Collection.  This is best of Babies and Brides.  It's not in the "normal" catalog but can be ordered until next March.  If you'd like to order it, you need #133482 ($14.95).  It only comes in clear mount, but that's perfect when you need to save space like me!  I colored in the heart with a Real Red Stampin' Write Marker, put some glue on top and sprinkled "Dazzling Diamonds" Stampin' Glitter over the top.  I love how it looks!

See you tomorrow for a some INKspiration!
