Stampin' Up!'s Walk in the Wild for a Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday with a Walk in the Wild
I made this card for Marc's uncle, his birthday is coming up soon.  Marc had picked out this stamp set as one of my free sets this summer and he said it's the perfect one for his uncle.  I just love the pheasant, he's so cute!

I used my Stampin' Write Markers to add some color to his head and to add some grass.  Not familiar with that burnt red color?  It's Cajun Craz, isn't it beautiful paired with Chocolate Chip and Crumb Cake?
We decided (Marc, Marc's mom who is visiting and I) that the card needed "something" more!  I added the Candy Dots in Crumb Cake to the corners.  Doesn't it resemble a belt buckle?  And that Woodgrain Embossing Folder fits perfect with the theme!  I have been using the "ribbon" more and more lately as it's perfect for fall (and manly) cards.

Come back tomorrow for another Fab Friday!  Thanks for following me!

Beautiful card! I also find it hard to make masculine cards. My husband would love this one!

Thanks so much Bree and Michelle! I have been trying to get better at "male" cards and having a guy around who likes to give input helps a lot! :) I appreciate your sweet comments!
