Holiday Stylin' Stampin' Squad Blog Hop

Thank you so much for joining us for the November Stylin’ Stampin’ Squad Blog Hop! This month our projects focus on Christmas. While we have yet to give thanks this month, some of us are already thinking about sending Christmas cards, what kind of packaging to present gifts in and how we want to deck our halls. On this month’s blog hop we are showcasing many of the Stampin’ Up! products that are available in the Holiday Catalog. You will see everything from cards to gift tags to 3-D décor and gift packaging. We hope you enjoy seeing how we use the products to create our projects and feel inspired to come up with some great projects of your own.

Remember you can order all of the products showcased from your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator!!

Although I am the first stop, you could have just left stop number 15 on the Stylin’ Stampin’ Squad blog hop –Shellie G at Craft Smashup. If so, you are in the right spot. If a link doesn’t work or you get off track, you will find the full blog hop lineup at the very bottom of this post.

Santa Suit Card
I wanted to make this card for a long time and it's a total CASE (thanks Dawn Olchefske)... I love the Santa with the belt.  Actually, as you are going to see over the next two months, I love Santa and Snowmen!  The Santa comes from the "Santa's List" stamp set and the sentiment comes from "Christmas Messages" (which I used for both projects)!
As you can see I made sure to line my envelope, and I added a sentiment and strip of candy cane strip to the inside.  That sentiment is from the almost "missing" More Merry Messages.  Yes, this GREAT set is still available!  I also used the Oh' Goodie, "Ho Ho Ho" stamp to bring everything together.

Double-Slider Hershey Bar Wrapper
For my second project I wanted to make a double slider candy bar wrapper.  What does that mean you may be wondering... well, check out the next picture!

When you pull the top of the candy bar, a special note comes out the bottom!  Totally amazing I know!  I decorated the wrapper to match the card (although the two reds are different as I noticed too late... but it gives you a good impression of Real Red (featured below) and Cherry Cobbler (featured on the Santa in the card).  I also used Christmas Messages again... but really, who doesn't love
Do you LOVE this candy bar wrapper?  Come back Saturday for the tutorial!  Tomorrow I am back with a Fab Friday and Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration card!

Pam, great use of the Santa stamp pairing it up with a belt buckle on the card. Love those stripes, too... as always! :) Cute candy bar wrapper dressed up as Santa's suit and what a neat twist on things that a message comes out of the bottom. Very fun! Thanks for sharing!
