Fab Friday and Friday Favorites

Two-for-One Friday...
Today I have two different cards for you, one for each blog that I design for!  The first one is for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration and it's a Friday Favorites...
Can you guess what my favorites are this week?  All things girly!  Strawberry Slush Ruffled Ribbon is one of my favorites, not to mention the color in general.  I love it paired with black and white as well!  Do you like this stamped image?  You can only earn it by hosting your own catalog workshop!  Contact me now to find out how!
It's a color challenge over at Fab Friday... and these happen to be 3 of my favorite colors together.
I used a swap I received from Kim Ryden to come up with this design.  You can call it a CASE with different colors, papers and stamps!  Thanks for the ideas Kim!
Do you recognize the Designer Series Paper?  It's from the Fresh Prints Paper Stack.  If you are coming to my class next Sunday, this paper stack will be yours!  :)  I simply tore the paper and added the Crumb Cake ribbon on the top.  Don't forget the Gorgeous Grunge in the background.  Starburst Sayings is the focal point of this card, I absolutely love it with these colors!
This is the inside of the card, I used Perfect Pennants to decorate the inside.  I used markers to color the two different colors.

Thanks for being my customers!  I love creating and posting for you!

Simple Stems paired with Sweet Sorbet for a Get Well Wish...

Better get better...
I have a friend going through cancer and she is at the hard spot.  Having had cancer (NH Lymphoma in 2002) I can completely relate to what she is going through.  Sometimes you just want to cry and yell, "Cancer Sucks".  So... I am giving her this card and some flowers today.  I know how much those little things mean to a cancer patient.
These flowers come from a new set in the Occasions Catalog called Simple Stems.  Guess what?  You can cut these two out using the Secret Garden Framelits!  Yippee Skippee!  I love accessories that are multi-functioning!
Both the Designer Series Paper (Sweet Sorbet) and the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder are exclusive items you can receive RIGHT NOW by making a purchase on my website.  If you spend $50, you get to pick one item.  If you spend $100, you get to pick two items (so on and so forth).
I totally forgot to mention that I used the Banner Framelits as well.  Those new frames are amazing for this girl - I can cut a straight line!  LOL  Which is probably why you rarely saw the banners on my cards.  As you can see I used a clear button (Annual Catalog) and added a bow made with the Crisp Cantaloupe Twine (also an exclusive Sale-a-bration item).  I love the twine, it's thicker than our normal twine so it holds the shape of a bow easier.
I made sure to decorate both the inside and the outside of the envelope.  Who doesn't want to see a little love there?  Are you wondering what colors I used?  Crisp Cantaloupe, Pistachio Pudding, Pool Party, Sahara Sand and Summer Starfruit.

If you haven't ordered already, make sure to pop over to my store and check out all the new things and let me know if you have questions.  Sale-a-bration is only going on for a limited time, so make sure to earn the products you love before they are gone!

See you tomorrow for more paper crafting fun!  Thanks for being my customer!

Stampin' with Markers for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration

Sale-a-Bration is HERE!!! Have you ordered yet?  Go do it now!  You don't want to miss out on the adorable sets available!  Plus, through today I am giving out card kits with every purchase.  Click on the link to the left to "shop now".  Now for the birthday card using markers!  I love this exclusive SAB set... it's called "See Ya Later"  I paired it with one of my favorite Designer Series Paper packs "Birthday Basics".
As you can see I used another tag topper punch - this one is the basic tag.  I love those punches!  I colored the stamp first in Raspberry Ripple and Gumball Green.  I made sure I "huffed" on the inked up stamp before I stamped it on the Very Vanilla card stock.
I used the sentiment from the Cycle Celebration Stamp Set and the Birthday Candles Jumbo Stampin' Up! Wheel. I had taken it off the wheel and mounted it on our clear-mount foam (ask me if you have questions about this) and then snipped them into groups of 5 candles to easily be able to stamp them as I need them!  I colored them in the colors of the card stock!

Go ahead, get out there and ORDER!  You don't want to miss out on the card kits I am offering - they are a-dor-able.  :)  See you tomorrow for another ink-spiring post!

Sale-a-Bration is COMING!

Sale-a-Bration is coming tomorrow!
Yay!  Who doesn't get excited about earning free (super cute) products!  Here is a card we made yesterday during my class...
This card features two sets from the SAB catalog: "Sweet Sorbet" Designer Series Paper and "You're Lovely" stamp set.  I also featured the Scalloped Tag Punch which is in the Occasions Catalog!  This is so cute and perfect for any occasion.   Who doesn't "live happy" or need that message?

Tomorrow kicks off the Sale-a-Bration season... make sure to get your $50 order(s) selected (it's a lot easier said than done, I know) and email me it!  It's hard to narrow down!  Remember that you get a free item for each $50 purchase you make.  You can't purchase these items, you have to earn them... so start planning your purchases!   I am providing card kits for any purchases made today!

Sale-a-Bration Inkspiration with Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration

Welcome to the Sale-a-Bration event for Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration!  Do you know what SAB is?  It's where for every $50 purchase you get to pick from a group of items that are free!!!  Yes, I said FREE!  This year there are stamps, paper, kits, embellishments, a punch, and an embossing folder!  At least 10 different items to pick from!  And yes, you get one free item for each $50 you spend!  You know that Christmas money you got?  Now is the perfect time to spend it!
I used a stamp set, paper and embellishments for this card.  If you can't tell, the SAB Designer Series Paper is made up of out 2013-15 in-colors.  I just love that Crisp Cantaloupe, and Costal Cabana!

Come back tomorrow for more inspiration using the exclusive SAB products!

Have you started making your Valentines?

Valentine's Day is coming soon...
I haven't been a fan of Valentine's Day since I was a kid.  My grandpa Steckman (Pop Pop) passed away on this day in 1987.  Although that was a long time ago, I still have to force myself to make cards for others on this special day.  I love sharing my love with others, isn't that what "heart" day is all about?
The card above is a card I got an idea from seeing another online.  I added the larger pink heart embossed in the new Sale-a-Bration Embossing folder.  Sorry, I don't have the name of the person who made the original card.  If it was yours please leave me a note so I can give proper credit!
This card is a direct CASE from my friend Heidi Boos.  She posted this awesome card on our team blog "Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration".  You can find her post here.  I did change up the sentiment because I didn't have the one she used.

If you have any questions about either card, please leave a comment or email me!

Thanks for following me!
I appreciate your support!  See you tomorrow for another INKspiration post.

Chevron Birthday Cake

Quick Post...
I forgot to plan a post for today so here I am posting before work!  LOL  This card is one I made for a color challenge using Calypso Coral, Pool Party and Basic Gray.  I added in some Smoky Slate for layering.
Never seen this "Birthday Cake" stamp before? That's because it is new to me!  It's a single wood-mount stamp and perfect to go with my love for chevron prints!  The banner comes from the hostess set Banner Greetings - if you want to earn this one you will need to either become a demonstrator or host a workshop through me!

Want to order the single stamp?  Here's the image:
Order using #130390 for only $8.95!!!

See you back here tomorrow for more stampin' fun!

Watercolor Wonder and Just Sayin'

Watercolor Wonder and Just Sayin'
This card is a one-layer wonder and I have to admit that it's a "sorta" CASE (copy and share everything) from another demonstrator but I can't remember who!  Anyway, I used the Gorgeous Grunge to "grunge" up the Tangerine Tango Card Stock first.  Who doesn't love those little splashes of color?
Do you see the cute sequins on the card?  Totally love the gold sequin trim in the Occasions Catalog.  If you haven't checked it out, do it now!  It's on page 23 and for only $4.95 you get 10 yards of this fun trim!  I just snipped off a few sequin and added a glue dot to the back to make them stick on my card.
Do you love the matching envelope liner?  That's one of the Watercolor Wonder papers!!

Something else new is the Word Bubbles Framelits and matching Just Sayin' Stamp Set.  Bonus alert: it's available in the BUNDLE!  Did you know the bundles are priced 15% off the retail price?  You get both items for more than 15% off!  YAY!  I love the set and have been using it on several cards!  Check out the bundle below:
Order it now using #134820 for $37.25 (clear mount) or #134819 for $43.95 (wood mount).

Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Scrapbook Sketch

Happy MLK Day!  Marc and I are off to Walt Disney World today, we received a gift card from his parents and right now Florida residents get a great deal for a 3-day pass!  Anyway, today is the Scrapbook Sketch at Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration.  Have you joined us for one of our challenges?  NOW is the time!
This is my second time doing the challenge for the scrapbook page and I have to say that I am quite happy with the final product.  I didn't want to do a huge layout so I did a smaller version in the corner.  Check it out here:
Here are some close ups of the work... not familiar with the featured stamp set?  That's because it is new and coming soon!  Make sure to check back over the next week to find out how you can get this set!
I used the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper stack - it features Real Red, Costal Cabana and Crumb Cake.
I had to use the "Love" framelit... sorry but it's not available (maybe we will see them with the launch of the new catalog?).
This is where I plan to journal about Marc and I... I have to print out a TON of pictures before I know what to write.

Thanks so much for checking out my blog and choosing me as your demonstrator!

Watercolor Wonder and Mixed Bunch for the Perfect Punch

Mixed Bunch with a Color Punch
Do you love bright and cheerful colors like I do?  I made these two cards for two of my "angels" that I send cards to on a weekly basis.  If you are interested in sending cards to someone who needs a smile, let me know and I can give you information on how to sign up!  :)

When I was looking at the new Designer Series Paper called Watercolor Wonder I was thinking about flowers.  Although there are tons of new flower stamp sets in the new Occasions Catalog I wanted to use my favorite flower set in the Annual Catalog, Mixed Bunch!
I am in love with this paper, specifically the color combination! I used Smoky Slate, Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight to make first card.  The sentiment comes from the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set which I wasn't going to get at first and now I am completely in love with it!

This card is the same color combo but I used the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch to make the little tag for the sentiment.  I used the polka dot stamp that comes in the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set. Those random polka dots from the Watercolor Wonder DSP are so cute and perfect for the card!  Do you love this paper too?  Buy it in my online store using #132994 ($10.95)!

Supply List:
Stamp Sets: Mixed Bunch and Perfect Pennants
Punches: Scalloped Tag Topper, Blossom Punch and 1/4" Scalloped Circle
Ink and Card Stock: Whisper White, Smoky Slate, Tangerine Tango and Daffodil Delight
DSP: Watercolor Wonder
Accessories: Daffodil Delight Seem Binding Ribbon and Rhinestones

See you tomorrow for some INKspiration!

Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration Birthday Cards

Happy Birthday!
Today we are celebrating all birthdays!  I made this card for my upcoming Birthday class coming in February!  I found this idea (I changed it up a bit) from a subscription I have to an awesome group offered by Ronda Wade.  I love this group and am so excited I get some ideas for classes without having to think about it much!  Do you love the way I popped up the "a" on this card?  I have seen it so many times and I just love it!
I have a bonus card for you... another idea from the same group but this one uses the Create a Cupcake stamp set and punch!  I have missed this stamp set!
As you can see, I used the leftover pieces of DSP to decorate the inside of the card.  So super cute!  Don't forget to stamp the outside of the envelope!
Thanks so much for stopping by and make sure to leave me some love in the form of comments!  Make sure you subscribe to my blog on a daily basis as well... I have some exciting things coming up that you don't want to miss!
