"Bug Me" Butterfly on Mailable Monday

Bug Me on a Mailable Monday...
Here's a card you can mail on a Monday without worrying about extra postage... don't mail on this Monday since it's President's Day and the Postage office is closed!

I love the Bug Me stamp set (#126577/ $12.95 clear-mount) and I am excited to share with you one of the cards we are making this Sunday at my Stamp-a-ma-Jig class.  I made two versions depending if you wanted a birthday card or a "just anything" card.  I did get this idea from someone else but since I didn't pin the idea, I can't find the original designer.  I am so sorry, I need to do better about writing down names.  If it's your design, please let me know so I can give you proper credit.  Here's the first card:
As you can see I used my favorite Designer Series Paper, Polka Dot Parade in Rich Razzelberry.  The sentiment is bordered with Basic Gray Paper.  I used the Large Scallop Edgelits to create the scalloped border (#127019/ $7.95).
Are you wondering where the two phrases came from?  Happy Day (#130297/ $16.95 clear-mount) has these two sentiments plus two others (Hello There and Sweet, Sweet Moments).
I layered the 1 3/4" Circle (Butterfly) on the 2 3/8" Scalloped Circle.  I made sure to add a little extra design using my paper piercing tool and Stampin' Pierce Mat.  If you haven't used these or aren't familiar with them, you have to check them out on page 179 in the Annual Catalog.  It's a great way to add a little something extra to a card, especially if you don't want to add dimension with a button or bow.

Do you want to join us on Sunday to learn how to perfectly place the butterfly using the Stamp-a-ma-Jig?  We will be creating from 1-4 in Lutz, Florida.  Cost is $25 or $15 with a qualifying purchase.  Bring your Stamp-a-ma-Jig with you or let me know you need one when you register for the class before Wednesday at 10am EST!

Thanks for checking out my blog and come back tomorrow for more stampin' inspirations!
