Happy Halloween with SSInk using Tee Hee Hee

Quick post today due to Halloween!  Happy Halloween friends!  I am always frustrated at the lack of stuff I make for this holiday!  Well, not this year!  However, now I have tons of cards to use NEXT year because I never sent them out!  Shame on me!
Both of these cards were made using extra supplies from a class so they might look familiar to you!  I did change up the stamping though so they do look different!  I just LOVE the Tee Hee Hee stamp set!  Cuteness!

Have a great day filled with fun and goblins!  Try not to eat too much candy!  :)

Tips and Tricks with SSInk: Making the perfect ribbon and using the Color Coach

Welcome to my Tips and Tricks post!  Click on the link above to see other Tips and Tricks!  I have some great tips and the first one is this: when wanting to make a bow that wraps around the entire card, first wrap a piece around the card and adhere.
Here's what you see on the front... after I adhere the ribbon using Snail, I tie a piece of White Bakers Twine in the center.  Wondering why I do this?  Because it makes it look like I actually tied a real bow around the card.
I snip the pieces off short so you can't see anything hanging.
Now I am made the bow and added it to the middle of the ribbon strip using a glue dot.
Now you see my perfect bow!  :)  You'd never know it was two pieces!
Wondering about the ink on the Seasonally Scattered "Merry" Stamp?  I inked it up using the Soft Sky and then used a sponge dauber to add Wisteria Wonder randomly to the stamp.
I added the snowflake embellishment using another glue dot and then put a rhinestone on top of it to add some shine!
Wondering how I picked the colors for this card?  I knew I wanted to use Wisteria Wonder.  I wasn't sure about what I could pair with it.  I grabbed my Color Coach and pulled out the Wisteria Wonder tab.  I flipped it over and I saw the first combo:
There are two 3-color combos on each card.  Every color also has a coordinating color with it from the same family (as seen on the right).

I hope you found the tips/ tricks useful and I will see you soon!

Freaky Friends for Friday Favorites with SSInk

Freaky Friends for Friday Favorites... say that 5 times really fast!  I have a TREAT for you (literally)! I bought these milk bottles from both Michaels and Target.  The bottles from Target come two in a pack in the Dollar section.  The bottles from Michaels are sold individually but they do NOT come with lids, so those have to be purchased in a pack of six.
This bottle is for my nephew because he loves Nerds candy!  I bought a package of individual boxes but dumped several boxes of white and then layered the orange on top, alternating the colors.
Here are some of the other things I fit into the bottles (I used Reese's Pieces but I also made some with M & M's too).
I will have a future post with the hot chocolate mix one in the middle!  That one is special for Christmas!
This is another example using Freaky Friends!

I love the Designer Series Paper pack Motley Monsters complete with the candy corn print!
This last bottle has a tag from the Merry Everything Stamp Set.  I love that vampire!

See you soon for some more fun projects!

Quick and Easy with SSInk

Welcome Back!  I am posting with SSInk today (click on the link above to see all of the designer's projects).  Sorry it's been awhile but life after vacation is as crazy as being gone... catching up on laundry, groceries, mail, etc... anyway, I am back and have a Christmas Tag for you.  You might be wondering how this is Quick and Easy?!  Let me tell you!
This tag comes from a wonderful set from Stampin' Up called Under the Tree Tag a Bag #135865!  I love how you can mix and match to make your favorite tag!
Can you believe you get all of this for $7.95?  The set makes 10 completed double-layer tags.  I added my tags to one of our polka dot bags as you can see below.  These also come in sets of 10 for only $3.95 (#135503)!
I also used a stamp set to decorate my bag which also happens to "go with" the Tag a Bag kit.  It's called Cheerful Tags:
This is a photopolymer set and it's only $13.95.  You can purchase this set (#135065) along with the Tag a Bag set and Polka Dot Bags in my online store!

Thanks for stopping over and I will see you tomorrow!

Card Sketch with SSInk

We have a sketch for you over at SSInk!
I used this sketch to make a card for my co-teacher (remember the gift last week)?!
I just love the fall stuff... especially since I haven't seen much fall in this neck of the woods!
Can't forget the inside of the card...
The final product looked so cute on her desk!
Thanks for following me!  See you soon!

Halloween Bags, Tags and Boxes with SSInk

I made these adorable tag toppers for candy bags to give out!  I love how they turned out and I hope you do too!  I CASE'd this idea from another Stampin' Up! demonstrator!
How did I make them?  I cut out the scallop square from the square framelits and then scored it at 1.5 inches.  I used the 4x6 cello bags to put the candy in and adhered the tag topper.
As you can tell I have decorated each candy bag differently!  I am so excited to give these away!
This is my favorite treat bag!  Who doesn't love that little orange bird (it almost looks like an owl).
I meant to make this ghost white on black paper but I used clear embossing powder with white ink... I still don't quite understand what happened to the white ink?!  It's cute nonetheless!
And the witch... isn't she super cute?
