Simple Saturday: "Festival of Trees" Christmas Tags

Christmas Tags using Festival of Trees
I made 3 different tags today, all cased from the Stampin' Connection magazine that Stampin' Up! demonstrators receive every other month!  I love this magazine because it gives me simple and recreatable projects to use in my classes!
All of the projects use: Garden Green, Real Red and Whisper White.  I used the Festival of Trees stamp set and the "Noel" on the middle frame is from the Bright & Beautiful Stamp Set.  Are you wondering how I made the tops of the tags so perfect?  I used the Angled Tag Topper Punch!
This is the perfect accessory for the Holiday season!  You will be able to make all of the tags you need with this tool!  Cut your paper to slightly less than a 2" width and make the length whatever you'd like!  Then you punch and viola, all set to decorate your tag!  You can order it over in my online store using #133323 for $22.95.

Thanks for following me and look forward to seeing you again!

Five Cards, One Stamp Set: Letterpress Winter

Five Cards, One Stamp Set: Letterpress Winter
I am making some changes to my blog and this is my first one!  I will be featuring a Stamp Set each Friday with 5 ideas.  You will find the ideas easy to duplicate and I promise to not add tons of extras.  My goal is to provide a set of card ideas for you to be able to make as soon as you get your set (or pull it out if it's one you already have!).

The first featured stamp set is Letterpress Winter!  This stamp set is a photopolymer set - you can see right thru it for perfect placement.
#135143/ $25.95

The first card I made uses Blackberry Bliss, Whisper White and Smoky Slate.  All of the basic supplies will be listed at the bottom of this post!
This card is made using Smoky Slate, Pear Pizzaz and Whisper White.
This card is another version of the one above - same colors, different design!
Again, same colors but different design.  Change up the layout and the ribbon, you have a completely different card!

This card uses a bonus item that is also part of this suite.  It uses the Snowflake Card Thinlits Dies!  As you can see, this card is very fun and the snowflake spins.  I used Coastal Cabana cardstock, and Bermuda Bay ink to make this card.

Products used:
Letterpress Winter Photopolymer Stamp Set #135143 $25.95
Snowflake Card Thinlits Die #135855/ $32.95
All is Calm Designer Series Paper #135823/ $12.95

4 Quick and Easy Cards with SSInk

I love Quick and Easy Fridays!  Do you need notes for the holidays?  If you are anything like me, you need LOTS of thank you notes!  I made this cards for tomorrow's class!  Everyone will make two of each card and a case to put them into.
I embossed this card, stamped the sentiment and then sponged some ink onto the snowflakes!
This card uses the new stamp set "Banner Blessings".  I really love this new stamp set!
Now there are two versions of the same card!  I switched up the colors to see which one I liked better.  I think I like the bottom one better.
Finally is a super simple card.  I stamped the border, colored it in with Melon Mambo Blendabilities, stamped the sentiment and added the colored rhinestones.  Can you say easy?!

This is a picture of the case these 8 notecards and envelopes are going to be stored inside!  Adorable!

Thanks so much for following my blog!

Fab Friday #55 using Wondrous Wreath

It's Sketch day over at Fab Friday!
I had fun with this sketch!  I have a super cute snowflake card coming soon so I wanted to switch it up!  Instead of a snowflake I used the adorable wreath!
One of my new favorite combinations for Christmas this year is Cherry Cobbler, Crisp Cantaloupe and Whisper White (I did add some Crumb Cake ink with the Hardwood Background).  My favorite part of the Wondrous Wreath Stamp Set is that you stamp three pieces.  This may seem like no big deal but if you make a mistake (like I did), you can easily move things to cover it!

Thanks for following Stampin' in the Sun!  I hope you enjoy this card and come back to check out other projects I have coming up!

Gift Card Holders with SSInk

We are focusing on Gift Card Holders over at SSInk.  Click on the link above to see all of the other Design Team's projects.  Believe me, they are AWESOME!

This project is CASE'd from Ronda Wade and Maggie Peterson but it's super cute and I just had to share it with you!  The gift card fits right behind the Real Red layer.  It slides right into the pocket and it looks completely adorable!  The tree is stamped with the Festival of Trees Stamp Set - it's one of my favorites this holiday!
I took a close-up so you can see how beautiful our new star border punch looks, especially with the glitter paper behind it!

Do you love the snowflake embellishments?  They are becoming one of my most favorite in the Holiday catalogs!  Did you know that you can color them with the Blendabilities Markers?  They look really cute when you do!

Come back tomorrow for some more inspiration!  Thanks for following me!

Stamp Set Focus: Truly Grateful

Truly Grateful Gratitude Journal
Who doesn't feel grateful during the month of November?  I think we are constantly reminded of this when we just look on facebook!  The daily "Grateful" posts really sparked something within me.  I don't want to post them for all the world to see though.  I'd rather put my thoughts into a journal.

Today is my FIRST downline meeting!  I am so excited to have a meeting with my downline!  We are going to be making this adorable gratitude journal.  I used Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Smoky Slake.  All of the projects we will be making uses the Flower Frenzy Bigz Die.  The Gratitude Journal works perfect for anytime of the year (which is why I didn't use leaves).
I used the sentiment and the "splash" from the Truly Grateful Stamp Set.
These are the other projects we are making!  Check out my blog this week and next for quick tutorials making these projects for the Holiday Season!!!  :)

See you tomorrow for another fun project!
Thanks for following me!

Washi Tape with Stylin' Stampin' INKspiration with Project Life by Stampin' Up!

Welcome to FRIDAY!  Woohoo!  Today is the first day of my Lutz Club and I am so excited!  Anyway, I have a new card for you using Washi Tape.  I admit, I was truly in a hurry and I thought, I am going to make a fast card.  This card is FAST!  It took me less than 10 minutes to make.  I took out my Seasonal Snapshot Project Life kit and the same Accessory Packet.  The Accessory pack has lots of elements including a roll of Washi tape!
I picked the card, embossed the Old Olive layer and glued them all together.  Then I adhered the Washi Tape by peeling and sticking - viola!  A completed card in 10 minutes!

I will be hosting an online workshop over at my Facebook Page next, Saturday, November 15th.  I will be posting Christmas gift ideas, cards and LOTS more!  The best part: PRIZES!  Make sure to ask to join my page and start looking for posts between 9am and 9pm!

Hand Soap Tag Tutorial - 3 different ideas

Who doesn't need easy gifts during the holidays?
I know you are going to need easy gifts during the holidays, so this post is for you!  Make sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for the directions!!  I got the original idea for these soaps from my friend Heidi Boos last Christmas and modified them to fit a foaming hand soap.
The first thing you are going to need to get is some soap from Bath and Body Works.  Having worked there many years ago, I can tell you I love the foam soap.  Although some people prefer the other kind they have.  I will explain in the step-by-step directions what you can do in that case.
I created three different versions because I wanted you to see that you can do this with any color!  Not just a specific holiday soap!  I have more coming so keep your eyes on my facebook page where I plan to post lots of extras in the next coming weeks!  Join my facebook group HERE!
Because I did use so many different supplies in each one, I won't be making a list of supplies, but if you do have a question please email me!!!  All of the supplies are CURRENTLY in the Holiday Catalog and they are all still available!
Directions to make a Tag for Hand Soap
1.  Cut a piece of card stock 6" by 2 1/2"
2.  Score paper at 2" on the long side.
3.  Punch a hole in the "short" end using 1 3/4" circle punch.  I just eyeballed the center.  It just fits perfectly.  If you are wanting a little extra space you could use a 6 1/2" piece of card stock and score at 2 1/2" instead.
***If you are using the non-foaming soap, you will need to make the hole smaller using the 1 1/4" circle.

Thanks for following along!  Tomorrow is bonus project Friday so swing by for TWO projects!

Stamp Set Focus with SSInk: Seasonally Scattered

Welcome back... don't have a heart attack - two posts in a row!  This tag hangs from a super cute Takeout Box and it's using Seasonally Scattered (my new favorite set)!  Yes, Stampin' Up! sells these awesome boxes - perfect for cookies, candy, or a holiday treat!  I stamped the tag in Real Red and added the sequins and button.  The Nordic Buttons are adorable and work perfectly with this tag!  Do you love sequins as much as me?  I absolutely love the Frosted Sequins and they are easy to attach using the Glue Dots.
Do you love the Real Red Ribbon I used?  It's the perfect texture and ties into a bow so easy!  It's the 3/8" Satin Woven Ribbon... I really hope they come out with more of this ribbon!
Here is what the top of the box looks like.  As you can see I added a strip of the Wrapping Paper that Stampin' Up! sells.  I know what you are thinking.... wrapping paper, really?!  Check out the video from Stampin' Up! about this wrapping paper!

Don't you love how the wrapping paper is double-sided?

Come back tomorrow for a fun Christmas gift tutorial for something I know you will want to make yourself!
