Five for Friday... on Saturday with Big On You

Big On You...
I had intended on posting this yesterday but I was invited to my parents to have dinner with visiting relatives and my brother with his family!  It was so much fun and we played Farkle!  My Aunt Pat had never played but she WON!  My nephew was hoping to win but she passed by him in the winning round!  So much fun to spend time with family!  So sorry for the late post but we all know how important family time is!

So for my Five for Friday I am focusing on the Big On You stamp set and the new Chalk Inks!  We made this first card at club last week and the ladies LOVED it!  I used the black and white side of the Stacked with Love DSP paper stack!
This card using the Birthday Bash Paper and the small star punch!  I love how the paper matches the stars!
I have been decorating the insides of all cards and the envelopes!
I cased the card below but I didn't save the picture (sorry if it's your card).  I love the colors which comes from the Moonlight DSP Stack.
What a fun card and color combo... again using the same paper stack!
Finally for my fifth card... I feel like I saved the best for the last!  I love the Coral Pom Pom trim and I haven't been able to use it!  It's my latest goal to use it more often!  I am really happy with the way this card turned out!
I made sure to stack the button on top of dimensionals so that the trim could hang behind it!

I hope you enjoy this Five for Friday post!  If you enjoyed it, make sure to join my page!  Don't forget my facebook page as well:

Two for Monday with Sheltering Tree

It's Monday...
I really TRY to like Monday's but it's the end of our only day off together so it's hard to truly like it!  We had such a nice day yesterday!  We went to a sandwich shop in downtown Tampa (West Tampa Sandwich Shop) to get sandwiches.  Let me tell you, I ordered the Honey "Obama" Cuban.  Apparently President Obama ordered it when he was here one time.  It's a cuban sandwich with honey baked on top of the bread.  Amazing.  Marc got the shredded steak sandwich which had potato fries on it - he loved it!  Delicious!  We will definitely return there.

The sandwich shop is right by the Humane Society so we took a talk through there and then went to the beach!  We found a nice little secluded area and ended up being too cold so we went out to the main beach.  It's funny how spring breakers are so "hot" in their bikini's and I was sitting under a blanket!  Nothing ends a perfect beach day better than some italian ice from Rita's!  Anyway, today is back to work and a walking field trip to the Golf Course across the street.

My cards today are both very similar and use Sheltering Tree.  These are both true "Pam" creations and I hope you enjoy them!  Aside from the Hardwood Background, everything else is from the stamp set!
This first card reminds me of April in Michigan!
I really enjoyed making this card.  I used the idea from a card I made at the Stampin' Across America event I went to in Salt Lake City at convention last summer!  Do you love it?!  I think the purple card is my favorite!

Post a comment with your favorite card of the two (pink or purple) and be entered to win a set of cards using this stamp set (winning comment number picked at random)!  Some of the examples haven't been seen yet so you don't want to miss it!!!!  Thanks for following me and looking forward to your comments!  Giveaway ends on February 24th at 8pm EST!!!

Fab Friday #58 - Sketch Challenge with Crazy About You

I am so happy it's Friday!  I had my last observation yesterday for the year (we have 4 total and 3 of mine have been in the last three weeks!).  Today after work I need to finish getting prepped because I have my Card Club from 6-8:30pm!  It's a Fab Friday and we have a sketch for you today!  Click picture to take you to the Fab Friday page and check out what the other designers created.
I usually stick right to the sketch but this time I changed things up a bit to fit what I wanted to make!  That's the best part about sketches!  They are a starting point to get your brain into the mood to create!  I wanted to use the Crazy About You stamp set and this is what I came up with:
I grabbed the Painted Blooms Designer Series Paper and pulled coordinating card stock colors.  I used: Daffodil Delight, Blackberry Bliss and Wild Wasabi.
To create the triple layered flower I stamped it three times!  I punched the main flower using the Flower Medallion Punch.  Then I fussy cut the two smaller flowers.  Technically you could make this a four layer flower but in all honesty, I don't have the patience for lots of fussy cutting (that's why I own every punch and framelit).
Lately I have been really into making coordinating insides of my cards.  One, they are just super prettier but two, it makes the entire project flow.  From the beginning when I am cutting card stock, I cut a piece for the inside and "try" to remember to stamp when I am stamping the front.  In all honesty, most of the time I have cleaned the stamps and have to re-ink but the idea is to do the front, inside and envelope all at the same time!
Speaking of envelope, here's the coordinating envelope for this project.  Doesn't it all come together so nicely?  I forgot to mention the Crazy About You Bundle!  It comes with TONS of words to make up sayings to suit your needs!  It's a great bundle and when you buy the stamp set and thinlits together - you get 15% off!  It coordinates with three of our punches too!  Check out the picture below!
Order the Crazy About You Bundle using:
Photopolymer #138873 for $42.25
Clear Mount #139325 $54.25
Wood Mount #139324 $65.25

See you back again tomorrow for more stampin' inspiration!  Thanks for following me!  Don't forget to add me on Facebook at:

You Are My Sunshine Card Collage

Catalog Card Case
Are you ever at a loss as to what to for a project?  Today I created a card that was based off a card I saw in the Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog!  Check out the card here:
This card is featured on page 158.  Although I love the sun - I have little patience when it comes to creating it!

Here is my version:
I looked through my stamp sets to find sets that would work for the collage!  I found that the sunburst from the Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set (free at convention) worked perfectly for this card!  I hope seeing this creation based off a catalog sample will help to inspire you!  Find a card you like in the catalog, find some stamps that will work to your liking and START CREATING!  :)  I'd love to see your designs!  Email them to me at or post to my facebook page at:

See you tomorrow with a Fab Friday Creation!

Stamp Sets used: Ray of Sunshine, Kinda Eclectic, Positively Chevron
Ink: Night of Navy, Old Olive, Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral
Paper: Night of Navy, Whisper White, Old Olive

Fab Friday #57 Color Challenge

Fab Friday #57
We are back!  We take off the moth of January and enjoy crafting and having fun!  Some of us also attended the Stampin' Up! Leadership conference in Orlando!  Fun times!  We are back with a color challenge for you!
Although these are Valentine's Day colors this year (or can be), I wanted to use them for flowers!  I used several new items from the Occasions catalog including: Petal Potpourri with matching Flower Medallion Punch and Crazy About You with coordinating Hello You Thinlits.
How did I forget to mention this delicious new Embossing Folder?!  It's the Spring Flowers Embossing Folder.  Isn't it so so pretty?
I have been stamping the insides of all of my cards.  I love the Crazy About You stamp set and coordinating Hello You Thinlits.  I love how the thinlit words coordinate with the stamps?

Plan on seeing a bit more of me now that I am not sick anymore (seriously I was sick for several weeks)!  Thanks for following me!
