Build a Birthday Stamp Set as Candles

So far it's a beautiful day out today in Lutz, Florida and I am hoping to spend some time at the pool today (let's hope it stays this way).  This entire week has been rainy and dark!  Yesterday was a great birthday!  We enjoyed some Cheesecake Factory - I love the Farfalle Pasta and then I took home a piece of the Reese's Peanut Butter cheesecake.  We played some Sequence and Yahtzee when we got home (the wonderful rainy weather we have).
I used a card in the catalog as an example for this card.  I love the simplicity of this card but looking at it now, you can most definitely use an embossing folder on the Bermuda Bay or even a background stamp (Dots for Days?) to give it a step up!  My ladies loved how the cake layers (from the Build a Birthday Stamp Set) turn into birthday candles.  The little flags came from the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack.  I was proud of my button use as I rarely use buttons on my cards!  Supplies are listed at the bottom of this post!
