Happy Birthday to me with Birthday Blossoms!

Happy Birthday to me!  This is the first year in several years that I have been home for my birthday.  Usually the Stampin' Up! convention happens over my birthday and I am in Salt Lake City.  Last year I decided I wouldn't attend this year because we want to go to our class reunion in Michigan.  Then Stampin' Up! changed the dates to next week (haha but I am still not going).
To celebrate I wanted to do Birthday Bingo last night with my customers!  Over $200 of prizes were given away and we made 4 different birthday cards!  This is one of the four cards the attendees made.  I'd say it's my favorite but I really loved all 4, so you will see one for each of the next three days.

I made this card on a Crumb Cake base and stamped the small bunch of flowers as a background.  I used Versamark ink and then heat embossed using white embossing powder.  It turned out SO pretty!  We didn't do it this way in class do to time constraints but it's so pretty!  I also used the metal trimmed pearls (which are on sale until Monday as a Weekly Special).

This is the actual card we made in class, instead of embossing they using Soft Suede ink to stamp the flowers on the card base.  Wondering how I made the flowers?  I used a sponge after I stamped and punched the flowers using the Pansy Punch.  In my opinion they look so real!  Which card do you like better?  See you tomorow for another Birthday card!
