Handmade Background with Sweet Stuff

Sweet Stuff...
I am in love with making these backgrounds using markers.  I literally took 3 different shades of yellow, Smoky Slate, and Wild Wasabi markers.  I used the brush end of the markers and drew lines.  There's no rhyme or reason and you can see that the lines aren't perfectly straight.
I used the Sweet Stuff stamp set (retiring, get it now!).  I stamped the sentiment and the bumble bee in Momento Black ink and then colored them in with my markers.  I added some Hello Honey ribbon to give this card a little fun!

I have another card coming tomorrow for you that you won't want to miss!  Thanks for following me!

Fab Friday #63 (on Monday)... featuring From the Garden and Flower Patch

Fab Friday on... Monday
I am so sorry I didn't post on Friday.  We had a mix-up and then I had a busy weekend!  Friday night we went to the relocated Tampa Bay Rays game - they were supposed to be in Baltimore but due to recent events, it was here.  Tickets were $15 for anyone and we got there early after a great dinner at Fourth Street Shrimp Store in St. Pete.  If you ever come to visit, you HAVE to go there!  Great food for awesome prices!  My dad loves the crab cakes there.  On Saturday we spent the day a Disney World (we went to Magic Kingdom and Epcot).  Sunday took us to the beach and on a drive to Brooksville for lunch at Florida Cracker Kitchen.  Can you say AMAZING?!  I had chicken and waffle, which is a big thing in the south.  I have never had it and boy I wasn't disappointed.  So good!
Okay... I am sure you are ready for some card making fun!  This week at Fab Friday we are closing out the 2013-2015 in-colors!  Although we are very sad to see these colors go (especially me), we are getting 5 new colors in their place!
I used the Treat Bag Die to make this non-traditional card.  I wanted to make a thank-you for my fellow stamper Lisa Curcio.  She took me to Olive Garden for dinner and we had a wonderful time.
I used the Flower Patch Stamp Set and coordinating framelits to cut out the flowers that I stacked.  Let's not forget the inside...
When you pull on the "flower stick" you get a treat - a package of flower seeds!  Need a place to write?  Add a note on the back of the card stock.  You could even make the card stock double the length and fold into a card!
Next time you are at the Dollar Store, stock up up on seed packets and you can make this card too!  It'd be perfect for Teacher Appreciation this week or Mother's Day!

Thanks so much for following me!  See you tomorrow!
