3 Days of Halloween Treats: Treat Bag and Punch Board Bag

As a teacher, I love owls.  They are my favorite way to decorate in the fall!  I actually have owl decorations for several seasons, but my favorite is fall!  I just LOVE this treat bag idea and I cased the "tag" from the Holiday Catalog (check it out on page 49).  This uses the Boo To You Framelits and coordinating Howl-o-ween Treat Stamp Set (which is offered as a bundle for 15% off).  Don't miss the sale on the Treat Bag Thinlits this week (end Monday 9/21).  The set is $30 instead of the normal $40!  You can't beat that sale!
Wondering what candy I added to my treat bag?  Skittles!  I got a variety pack for Halloween and one of the flavors is "Orchard".  They taste just like fruits from an orchard (apples, pears, etc..).  I am going to be the Stampin' Up! Demonstrator at the Crop for Kids in Tampa on October 17.  The profits go to The Joshua House of Tampa.  I will not only be doing a make n' take, but also selling cards, gifts and treats!  These are two of the treats I will have available!  If you are in the area sign up now to come - you don't want to miss this fun event!
This treat uses the "Gift Bag Punch Board" by Stampin' Up!  I actually made a mistake, so this treat bag is smaller than it should be, but still just as super cute!  I used the Sweet Hauntings Stamp Set to decorate (I love the "Death by Chocolate" stamp).  This little bag fits several mini chocolates... perfect for a co-worker, friend or even your mailman!

Basic Supplies are listed below, please contact me if you have specific questions!  Come back tomorrow for two more Halloween Treats!

"Your Sublime" Crab Card

Did you know that I am a crab?  It's funny because I have a July Birthday and the "sign" is cancer and a crab.  I wouldn't say I'm a crab all of the time (some might disagree) but I do love the cute little crab used for this card!
I used two stamp sets, You're Sublime for the crab and Sea Street for the starfish.  I found this idea online and immediately fell in love.  I can't find the original designers name so if this is your creation, please let me know!  Wondering where the twine came from?  I used the burlap trim and cut off the edge and then pulled off individual pieces.  So cute!  Check out the list below and please let me know how I can help you!

"Barnyard Babies" for Christmas

I have been trying to post a variety of card types but Christmas is undeniably coming and you need cute cards to compete with all of the store-bought cards you will get!  Who am I kidding?  A store-bought card cannot be cute when you see this ADORABLE card!  :)

I am so in love with all of the elements on this card and I am proud to say that this is a Pam-creation!
How could you not love the pom-pom trim clipped to the side with the silver clip?  Don't forget to add some glitter to his Santa Hat!
All of the supplies are listed below and although this set isn't for Christmas, it will make adorable animal-related cards!  There are several really cute sayings in the set!

You're in my Thoughts using "Remarkable You"

Sometimes we have the best intentions but no energy to back them up!  Week 4 of school was great but exhausting!  Exciting news is that I will be getting a co-teacher this week so I only have to teach Language Arts and Writing.  I have to admit, I was excited to teach all of the subjects, but now that I only have to teach half, I am even more excited.  Teaching 5 subjects and trying to make them all interesting and exciting is TIRING!  So... hopefully I will have more energy in the coming weeks for other things (like stamping and blogging!).

I am in love with this card that Ronda Wade created.  I changed it up a bit but I am in love with the Wasabi with the Hello Honey.  I used the washi tape punch and cut it in half to create the background of the button.  So cute!
I love how this card opens to the side and the flowers peek out side!  Adorable!
I am in love with this stamp set Remarkable You.  It's perfect to stamp and color in quickly!  I used the Aquapainters to paint the pretty flowers.  Check out the supply list and let me know if I can help you in any way!  Thanks for being my followers and customers!

"For the New Two" Wedding Cards

I am so excited to share these two cards because they are my personal designs.  I specifically love the first one with the twine and sequin trim.  The colors are Pool Party, Silver and Black.  Did you know that the Designer Series Paper Pack has silver and gold included in it?  I love the paper stacks... you get 4 sheets of each color in the Paper Stack.  It's a great deal, especially if you love a color family.
I feel like I use the Itty Bitty Accents Punch pack more than any other punches.  I used the heart yesterday and today I used the flower.
For this card I cut a silver doily in half and used it at each end.  Both stamps (this one and the first one) are in the "For the New Two" stamp set.  Check it out:
I love the flower image and have plans to make a card that isn't for a wedding or an anniversary.  Hoping the sun comes out today so we can go into the pool and enjoy the weather.

Get Well Soup card and gift (literally)!

Happy three-day weekend!  We are enjoying a long weekend with both sets of parents.  We just came in from the pool and the boys are watching the Rays play and I decided to post to the blog!
I love this card!  The colors are perfect for this projects (thank you 2015-17 in-colors) and the heart on the front of the mug pairs perfectly with the embossing.
I made two front for the card but put the second one on a Kraft Treat Bag.  Soup fits perfectly into this adorable gift!
Target and Walmart both sell this type of soup... and it's actually one of my favorite things when I am not feeling well!  You could also put in a little packet of tissues, a lip balm and coup drops for your sick friend.
Here's how the bag looks from the front.  Since it's almost fall, whip some of these up and have them on hand!  I hope you enjoyed this cute gift and I will see you again tomorrow!

Fab Friday #72 with Reason for the Season

It's a Fab Friday and we have a sketch for you today!  I had a lot of fun playing with this sketch and using Christmas products for it!
It took me awhile to come up with this design but I really think it turned out pretty.  What do you think?  I used the Merry Moments DSP and the Reason for the Season Bundle.  I stamped Real Red and Mossy Meadow on the same color cardstock to stamp the wrinkles on the flowers and leaves.
Wondering how I did the lines of Stampin' Glitter?  I used the new Fine Tip Glue Pen (which is AMAZING) and then sprinkled the glitter on top.  Check out the pictures at the bottom to see the flower without glitter!
If you aren't into the glitter, you don't have to add it.  It looks just as pretty without it!
Don't forget to add a Iced Rhinestone to the center of your flower.
Check out the supply list and please let me know how I can help you!

Watercolor Wings and Cottage Greetings

Why does the upcoming 3-day weekend make me so excited?  Because I am excited to sleep!  This getting up at 5am thing is for the birds!  I made this card as one of my Thank You's last month.  I am still in love with it as I look at it now.  I made this card using the Crumb Cake Notecards and Envelopes set.  They are perfect to make cards in a snap!
Wondering what colors I used?  Don't quote me but I am pretty sure it was Pool Party and Rich Razzleberry.  I know I stamped off the third layer to get the lighter color.  The pretty font sentiment comes from the Cottage Greetings Stamp Set.  I used several ideas from Diane Dimich's card!
The gold thread adds a beautiful and delicate look to this butterfly.  Don't forget a sequin from the sequin pack!
I also cut a vellum butterfly using the coordinating framelit set called Bold Butterfly!  Thank you for following me and checking out my card creations!

Watercolor Wings Intial Notecard

Hey there Stampers!  School is well under way and I have lots to show you.  I spent some time creating over the weekend (although I did work on lesson plans too).  We have had a lot of rain lately, which means lots of stamping time.  I am trying to get into my routine so I can stamp each afternoon for an hour or so... not to that point yet!  If you haven't taught before, the first 4-6 weeks is exhausting teaching (and repeating, and repeating) all of the routines over and over again!  I love my class and am so excited to be back in Third Grade.  More on that later!

I am so excited to share this adorable card with you today!  This is a complete "Pam Creation" with nothing cased!  I was making the other Watercolor Wings cards yesterday and was considering adding a layer with the butterfly embossing folder.  It didn't end up showing enough for me so I saved the paper and planned to use it for something else.
Here's what I came up with... Blushing Bride and Watermelon Wonder pair together perfectly for this notecard.  The butterfly was so easy to stamp and then cut out using the coordinating framelits.  I missed the "Larger Than Life Alphabet Set" in the supply list (and somehow selected "Cottage Greetings instead- ignore that).  So sorry!  It was getting late and I needed my sleep so I didn't want to redo the list!  Thanks so much for following me and come back tomorrow for another fun post using this same stamp set!
