Number of Years for a 40th Birthday and Pinterest Hack

Happy Monday!  Yesterday we celebrated my birthday with Marc's family, one week early.  His mom makes the best cakes... Cherry Nut with Cream Cheese Frosting.  So delicious!  Here is a picture of the cake she made for me.
This cake reminded me that I never shared the card I made for Marc's birthday in June.  I enjoyed creating this using the Number of Years Stamp Set and coordinating Large Numbers Framelits.  I added embossing using the Confetti Embossing Folder and sequins using the Metallics Sequins.
I also found this really cute treat on Pinterest for Marc.  Wondering how I made this?  I found a green floral foam at the Dollar Tree and covered it with black tissue paper.  I wrapped silver glitter washi tape around the top.  The punched Smoky Slate stars really added extra fun to the treat.  I used the Piercing Tool to poke holes in the foam and stick in the suckers.  I added the banner to a BBQ skewer that I cut down to work for this project.
I hope you enjoyed my projects.  Let me know if you have questions!  The supplies linked are for the card only!   If you have specific questions about the 40 Sucks project, let me know and I can answer them for you!

If you purchase from me using this host code, you will get the 5 July "free" cards (posted below).  Your purchases truly help me to keep my business going.  I know there are a lot of stampers who post on blogs, but it means the world to me when you pick me as your demonstrator!  If you make a purchase in my online store, please use hostess code: PPZSGEY2
