Happy Sunday! I am back!! I have the best intentions but not as much energy! As you may know, I am a 3rd grade teacher and as teachers, we went back starting August 2nd. The first month of school is always exhausting, but the first two weeks is extra exhausting between setting up, prepping lessons, prepping materials for lessons and activities, attending Meet the Teacher Night, etc... It really sucks the life out of me. I have to admit, I am crabby when I get home and I just want to eat, shower, watch tv and go to bed. Well, as you can imagine, that is all I really did do! Last weekend I focused on my classroom again, prepping things, etc.. and my dad had shoulder surgery so that took some of my time too!
Lucky for you, I have several projects prepped and ready to go for you. My plan today is to get myself all set up to have them posting each day for you! I am continuing my 5 days of Seaside Shore with a quick and easy card.
This card uses a regular card base but I cut out a circle from it. Then I used a white 4x5 1/4" piece of white cardstock underneath. I did use masks to make the fish look like they are swimming in the ocean. Not sure what a mask is? I just stamped the fish on a post it note and cut it out. I hold onto the "mask" with the stamp set so I can use it again and again. I used the Banners for You (wonderful and versatile) Bundle to create the "Hello" tag.
This is the inside of my card, I have been enjoying creating some art on the inside of my cards too!
Don't forget the envelope.... it needs some decorations too!
Check out my supplies below and hop over to my online store to purchase any of the supplies. Don't forget that when you make a $25 purchase from my online store, I send you 5 cards of the month (I will feature them this week in a blog post). Use hostess code: MDMFYDHY Thank you for following me and come back tomorrow for another fun project!
